Reno is a 2016 Selle Francais gelding sired by Cabdula du Tillard out of Quelle Wahine.

 

  Cabdula du Tillard was a 1.50m jumper himself and sired 1.60m jumper Made in Tillard aka Metropolitan ridden by Georgina Bloomberg ,and also Olympic eventer Ismene du Temple.

Reno's dam's sire (Fuego du Prelet) jumped 1.60m himself and sired 1.60m jumper and approved stallion Vivant.

Reno shares the same dam sire as Olympic horse SFN Zenith. Zenith the KWPN gelding claimed team and individual gold at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games in Caen, and the 2015 FEI European Championships in Aachen, as well as team gold for the Netherlands at the 2014 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. He was also named the 2014 Horse of the Year by KWPN.

Reno is overall a sweet and well mannered gelding. He is good for the vet and farrier. He grooms, ties, trailers, lunges and has been under saddle since January 2019.
